Our Story
A small church with deep roots, gathered beside the creek that gave us our name.
Who we are
How We Got Here
Curia Creek Christian Church was born out of a simple conviction: that ordinary people, gathered in an ordinary place, can experience an extraordinary God.
We take our name from the creek that winds through this corner of Arkansas — a reminder that living water runs through everything we do. We're not a perfect church, but we're a genuine one. We believe the gospel is good news for real life, and we try to live that out together every week.
Our foundation
What We Believe
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth; and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He shall come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
The Bible
We believe the Scriptures are the inspired Word of God and our final authority for faith and practice.
Jesus Christ
We confess Jesus as Lord and Savior — fully God, fully human — who died, rose again, and reigns today.
Baptism
We practice believer's baptism as a response to faith and a participation in Christ's death and resurrection.
The Lord's Supper
We gather around the table to remember Jesus, proclaim his death, and anticipate his return.
The Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ — called to love one another, serve our neighbors, and make disciples.
Unity
In essentials, unity. In non-essentials, liberty. In all things, love.
